Featured in this post is an immaculate multi stage luxury south Maui project currently in progress, the first portion of the project was to have the roof completely redone and upgraded with a brand new concrete tile flat roof. The customer chose a top rated and respected local Maui roofing company, A Cut Above Roofing for the project. we can see in the above and below pictures the crew hard at work cutting tiles.
This upscale south Maui home is perfect for the combination of a roofing/solar upgrade, the homes value is increased considerably with high end upgrades such as these. With the addition of the high end solar system the home now becomes energy independent, power outages and the high cost of electricity in Maui are now of no worry to the customer!
Now that the roof has been fully completed, the solar installers will begin the mounting and racking installation on the roof. You can see the mounting boxes with the material being placed on the roof getting ready for installation.
We can see here that the installers have almost completed the installation of the mounting on the roof, with the Iron Ridge tile replacement mount a concrete flat tile is removed, a Quick Mount is installed in that location and a post is now visible that the racking for the solar panels will be secured to.
Pictured above we can now see the mounting and racking installed, we can also see the Enphase Microinverters installed on the racking ready to be connected to the solar panels.
At this stage the Maxeon 415 watt panels have been fully installed and this portion of the project is completed. The Tesla Powerwalls will be mounted in the garage area keeping them out of the sun allowing them to stay at optimal operating temperature.
