Getting started on your path to ownership of a top tier solar system is easy.

Step 1 – Consultation

Contact Maui Sun Solar to schedule an on site evaluation of your home or business within 24-48 hours.

During this visit we will assess your entire project. The property, roof, and electrical system of your home will be looked over for any potential complications that will need to be addressed before a solar installation can begin.       

Once this is completed we will design and properly size your solar system taking into account your current and future energy needs.

The physical location of the equipment will be chosen and we will complete a simulation of your system that will show the amount of electricity it will produce throughout the year.

Step 2 – Application

In this stage we will have your application to Hawaiian Electric submitted for approval through the installation company.

Typically the approval process is problem free and takes four to six weeks to secure through the utility company.

A  500$ application fee is collected at this time, the application fee is applied to the total cost of the system.

Step 3 – Agreement & Installation

At this stage in the process your project will be approved by Hawaiian Electric, Your installation agreement will be sent out to your email to look over and sign, once completed and signed the physical installation of your new renewable energy system will begin!     

Step 4 – Final Completion 

Now that your new solar system is installed and passed final inspections your system is turned on.
